About the Dialysis Unit

The dialysis unit in Aberdeen provides in centre haemodialysis for the local population in and around Aberdeen city. The team also cares for acutely unwell inpatients in our acute dialysis facility within Ward 108.

Where is the Dialysis Unit?

The Dialysis Unit is located within the Purple Zone, level 2 Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. There closest entrance is through the Rotunda doors within the orange zone. Patient parking is available in the main hospital carpark and around the boundaries of the hospital buildings.

If you feel unwell on the day of your dialysis please contact the unit on the number provided. The dialysis team will assess your needs and give advice ahead of coming into the unit. If it is a non dialysis day, contact your GP, NHS 24 or attend A&E if necessary.
