Insch War Memorial Hospital serves the population Insch and the neighbouring practices of Rhynie, Strathdon and Alford.

Insch War Memorial Hospital was built in 1922 from public subscription to create a memorial for those who gave their lives in the war of 1914 to 1918. An active "Friends of Insch Hospital" group supports the hospital by holding fund-raising events as well as providing support and additional equipment for the benefit of patients and staff.

Insch War Memorial Hospital has GP acute beds and a palliative suite with adjoining relatives' room. A dedicated Minor Injury trained nurse delivers the Minor Injury Unit Service Monday-Friday between 8am and 6pm.  Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists are on site and there is emphasis on rehabilitation.  A medical model of day care is also provided which is shared with in patients.

There is an attached 5 GP Practice and Community Nursing Team.  Chiropody services are also based in the Health Centre and the Joint Future Health and Community Care Teams meet regularly to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to all care.
