Spiritual care is about looking after the human spirit – all that connects us to what is within us, around us and beyond us.
Spiritual care addresses the fundamental human need to have a sense of meaning, purpose and hope, particularly in the context of injury, illness or loss.
The Spiritual Care Team seek to provide spiritual care for all.
-
We're here for patients, relatives, service users, carers, visitors, volunteers and staff
-
To create safe space for listening, support, celebration and comfort
- Starting where every person is, making no assumptions.
The main Spiritual Care Department offices are the Pink Zone of ARI. However, Spiritual Care services are provided in multiple locations across NHS Grampian.
