NHS Grampian has developed a Winter Wellness guide to help people across the region lead healthy lives throughout the coming months.

North East Scotland Mobile Breast Screening Unit - Stonehaven and Laurencekirk

The North East Scotland Mobile Breast Screening Service will commence screening in Stonehaven on 20th December 2022 for approximately 3 months.   The Mobile Unit will be sited in the car park at Kincardine Community Hospital, Kirkton Road, Stonehaven, AB39 2NJ.   Women aged 50-70 years of age who are registered with a General Practitioner at Inverbervie Medical Group and Stonehaven Medical Group will receive an invitation to attend in Stonehaven. The letters are sent out 4 weeks before their appointment date.

Anyone who has visited the Foresterhill Health Campus in recent weeks will have witnessed the preparatory works for The Mortuary and Green Space Project. The new two-storey mortuary facility is to be built adjacent to the greenfield site next to Foresterhill Health Clinic and will be an integrated post-mortem examination facility and storage for the deceased that will offer mortuary services within a single facility to serve the population of the North-east of Scotland and Northern Isles.
