Grow the Hope Collaborative so we learn and share stories of impact together

What is the Hope Collaborative?

The Hope Collaborative brings together key person‑centred approaches across Grampian — including GIRFE, Putting People First, Realistic Medicine, and Trauma‑Informed Practice — into one clear, joined‑up way of working.

These approaches all share the same core aims:

  • Listening to people and supporting choice and shared decisions
  • Doing what matters to the individual
  • Working better together across services
  • Reducing complexity and duplication
  • Preventing harm and tackling inequality

Together, they help us deliver more compassionate, personalised health and social care.

The Hope Collaborative helps to:

  • Create and share simple stories about the impact of person‑centred care
  • Reduce duplication and system clutter through sharing tools and relational approaches
  • Support consistent, values‑led care across services
  • Build shared learning and common language
  • Strengthen a culture of compassion, partnership and empowerment
