What is the Hope Collaborative?
The Hope Collaborative brings together key person‑centred approaches across Grampian — including GIRFE, Putting People First, Realistic Medicine, and Trauma‑Informed Practice — into one clear, joined‑up way of working.
These approaches all share the same core aims:
- Listening to people and supporting choice and shared decisions
- Doing what matters to the individual
- Working better together across services
- Reducing complexity and duplication
- Preventing harm and tackling inequality
Together, they help us deliver more compassionate, personalised health and social care.
The Hope Collaborative helps to:
- Create and share simple stories about the impact of person‑centred care
- Reduce duplication and system clutter through sharing tools and relational approaches
- Support consistent, values‑led care across services
- Build shared learning and common language
- Strengthen a culture of compassion, partnership and empowerment
