Take a Break

Taking a break is considered as professional and responsible behaviour and an important part of your time management. A rest period enhances your work and educational experience and is likely to improve your efficiency and patient care. Not taking your break may have a significant impact on your department, our whole organisation and also the service you and NHS Grampian is able to provide our patients.

The Benefits of Taking a Break:

  1. Breaks boost creativity
  2. Breaks can refresh your attention span and sustain concentration
  3. Breaks can lower your body mass index
  4. Breaks reduce the risk of on-the-job accidents
  5. Breaks can aid the prevention of eye strain
  6. Breaks lower stress
