Grampian Empowered Multicultural staff (GEMs)
Co-designing Diverse Recruitment Panels for senior roles within NHS Grampian
Next Wednesday 20th May, 2-3 pm on MS Teams

We are delighted to remind you about our forthcoming GEMs Meeting taking place on Wednesday 20th May.  We'll be welcoming Tracey Hicks, NHS Grampian Recruitment Manager who brings an exciting opportunity for colleagues to co-design diverse recruitment panels for senior roles within our organisation.
During the session, we'll explore:
  • NHS Grampian’s commitment to diverse and inclusive recruitment
  • The benefits of increased diversity on executive recruitment panels
  • How we advertise senior roles and reach wider networks
  • Shortlisting processes
  • Interview processes and the role of interview panels
  • What to expect as a panel member, including support and training needs
  • GEMs representatives’ experiences and reflections (discussion)
By the end of the session, we hope to arrive at:
  • A shared understanding of the role and expectations of GEMs representatives participating in executive interview panels
  • Identification of any additional training or support needs
  • Agreement on shadowing opportunities to help colleagues take part with confidence
We’d really value colleagues’ insight and a diverse range of lived experience in shaping how this work develops.
