Changes to your inhaler: Fostair® to Proxor®

Your inhaler is being changed because NHS Grampian has found a better value way to provide the same treatment.

Your new inhaler:

• Contains the same medicine
• Works in the same way as your current inhaler

This change helps NHS Grampian make the best use of its resources to provide care to patients. 

Doctors, nurses and pharmacists across NHS Grampian have been asked to follow this guidance.

What this means for you

• Your prescription will be updated the next time you order your inhaler
• Please use up any inhalers you already have before ordering more
• If you have any questions or concerns about this change, please contact the Pharmacy Team at your GP practice.
