Family support at Befriend a Child
In addition to befriending and mentoring services, Befriend a Child can provide families of children who are being befriended or mentored with extra support. A Family Support Co-ordinator will work alongside parents and carers, to identify areas where they would benefit from extra support. Family Support - Befriend a Child
Fersands & Fountain Community Project
Working to provide advice, education and support to the most vulnerable and hard to reach families in the local area. They have a family centre, family support, family centre nursery, parents and toddlers groups, junior groups 5-12, youth groups 12-25, adult classes 16+, information and support services, a food pantry, community café, a charity shop, after school clubs and many others activities. Based in Woodside.

Young Minds – Parents
Guide for parents covering how to support young people through various events such as bullying and divorce. Guide also provides information on mental health problems such as depression, anxiety and disordered eating and how to support young people with them. They also offer a parent helpline and webchat.

Family Information Service
The Family Information Service (FIS) provides free, comprehensive and up-to-date information about all services for children, young people and their families in Aberdeen. Their directory of services is for parents, carers, young people and professionals. This includes information on ASN services, ELC funded childcare, private childcare, social and leisure activities and family support services.

Middlesfield Community Project
Middlefield Community Project @ the Hub is an independent charity providing a range of services to those living in the Middlefield, Cummings Park, Marchburn and Heathryfold area. Services include individual support and help, adult and family learning, parent support, Under 11's work and Youth work.
