A Chronic Oedema Clinic runs at The Oaks. As Oedema is a chronic condition patients are taught to manage and treat the condition themselves with guidance and advice from the clinic.

Treatments include skin care, compression and exercise.

Following the initial phase of assessment and treatment patients are offered regular monitoring as required. Treatment can be adapted or changed if required. The referring doctor/nurse is kept informed of the patient's progress.
