What is the GRACE-CT project?

GRACE-CT (Grampian Radiology AI for Chest Evaluation – CT) is a six-month evaluation project led by the NHS Grampian Innovation Hub to assess an Artificial Intelligence (AI) driven decision support tool from Harrison.ai that can detect up to 201 clinical findings within a Chest CT Scan.

What is the innovation?

As part of this work, NHS Grampian is deploying an AI-based clinical decision-support tool that assists in the detection, localisation, and triage of radiological findings in CT chest imaging. The system supports, but does not replace, clinical decision-making. It highlights suspected findings for review by authorised radiologists, who remain fully responsible for interpretation and reporting.

This evaluation will focus on improvements in flow and efficiencies to enhance patient and clinician experience.
