Our Activities 2026
Neurodiversity Empowerment Group (NEG)
16th September, 2 -3.30 pm on MS Teams
At our next specially extended meeting of the Neurodiversity Empowerment Group (NEG) we look forward to welcoming two special guests.
Firstly, we're looking forward to welcoming Clair Ross, Project Manager for Neurodevelopmental Pathways for Children and Young People in Grampian. Clair will be along to connect with NEG members as part of her work to better understand current pathways and identify opportunities for improvement. She will be sharing information about her role and listening to the experiences and insights of members to help shape future developments through a co-production approach.
We're also delighted to welcome Dr Shannon Babbie from the University of Aberdeen who will talk to us about his team’s newly-developed environmental neuro-inclusivity assessment tool, which is based on their university accessibility research. The evaluation considers the impact of space on sensory perceptions, especially for the 1-in-5 neurodivergent people among us. You can find further information about this research on their website here.
We hope you will be able to join us for this special session, please share with anyone you think would be interested to attend.
