Preventative Duty on Sexual Harassment
Wednesday 15th July, 2-3 pm on MS Teams
The Staff Equalities Network are looking forward to welcoming Equality and Diversity Manager Roda Bird at our next meeting. During the session Roda will update colleages on the Worker Protection (Amendment of Equality Act 2010) Act 2023 which introduces a duty for employers to take "reasonable steps" to prevent sexual harassment and ensure a safe working environment.
Roda is leading the Culture Programme Board commission on this Preventative Duty on Sexual Harassment, but everyone has a role in creating a workplace free from sexual harassment, and raising awareness among all staff is a vital first step. Preventing Sexual Harassment in the Workplace.
