The following services are available for NHS Grampian employees via their dedicated occupational health service:

Management Referral

Early referral by managers allows effective prioritisation and signposting to appropriate support services in order that individual employees can be given the best opportunity to either avoid an absence from work, or to facilitate their early return to work. Management Referral.  Employees are encouraged to work with their managers via this process to get the maximum benefit of OHS Support.

Self-Referral

Staff who chose not to have a management referral can self-refer following the guidance at the following link: Self-Referral.

Counselling & Wellbeing Hub

This support is set up specifically for staff experiencing difficulties in their personal and or professional lives which may impact their ability to remain in work.  All information regarding the hub (including the self-referral form) can be found at the following link Counselling & Wellbeing Hub.  Staff who would prefer to contact the hub directly can do so via the dedicated number 01224 5(55749) and speak with one of the trained wellbeing advisors.

There is also information regarding workplace stress management including the Stressor Assessment Questionnaire, the HSE Stress Standards and links to the Mental Health & Wellbeing Policy which provides information and guidance on all the supports available to both staff and managers.

COVID-19

Go Health services has a variety of supports for staff directly related to COVID-19 which can be found at the following link.  This links to information on skin care and PPE use, asymptomatic staff testing information, and COVID-19 Age Risk Assessments.

General

Other services also available include immunisations, care following a sharps injury, health surveillance (vibration, noise, skin, respiratory sensitisers, asbestos, and skin), first aid training, pre-employment screening including Exposure Prone Procedure (EPP) clearance and attendance management.
