Integrated Impact Assessments
Assessing the impact of what we do
We use Integrated Impact Assessments to help us consider how our actions and decisions can contribute to achieving equality, uphold human rights (including the rights of children and young people), reduce inequalities and tackle the climate emergency.
This process makes sure NHS Grampian is fulfilling its legal duties: Public Sector Equality Duty, the Fairer Scotland Duty, our children’s rights obligations, the Consumer Duty and our environmental responsibilities.
Guidance and Support
These resources have been produced to raise awareness, both in healthcare and in the communities we serve, of the impact assessment process and the consideration staff in NHS Grampian are expected to give when decision making:
