Where you can find us
Attending Your Appointment
When you arrive at the clinic, please check in with our reception team and wait in the designated area until your clinician calls you. Patient toilets are available. Both CAMHS sites are wheelchair accessible. Your clinician will take you to a clinic room for your appointment and walk you back to reception afterward.
We sometimes have students or trainees observing appointments as part of their learning. You will always be asked beforehand, and it is completely okay to say “no” to this request, we understand that it can be daunting or anxiety provoking speaking in front of new people.
If you cannot attend a scheduled appointment, please contact your local CAMHS team as soon as possible to reschedule. If you do not attend without informing us, we may not offer another appointment and you could be discharged from the service. Repeated cancellations may also result in discharge, as we need to use appointments effectively to support all children and young people waiting to be seen.
