Hearing Aid Repair Options (Adult Service)

If your hearing aid is no longer working effectively, or has stopped working completely, please first have a look at our self-help and troubleshooting information here

If you have been unable to resolve the issue yourself, please see the following options:

Aberdeen City / Aberdeenshire patients:

1) Face-to-Face Appointment with Hearing Aid Repair Technician:

If you require a hearing aid repair appointment, please contact the Audiology department at Woodend Hospital, either by phone or by email, to arrange a face-to-face appointment with one of our hearing aid technician appointments. The appointments are frequent and you would be booked the next available appointment.

Please note you will not be seen without a booked appointment

2) Postal Repair Option

Alternatively you can post in your hearing aid for repair. Please send in a sealed envelope with your full name, address, date of birth and a short note stating the problem you are having, to the address above.

Please ensure you use the correct postage on your parcel, when posting to us, as incorrect postage delays the process.

3) Drop off repair Option

We do also have a ‘drop box’ in the Audiology Department reception at Woodend Hospital, where you can leave your hearing aid for repair and it will be posted back you. Please place in a sealed envelope with your full name, address, date of birth and a short note stating the problem you are having.
