We had Danielle Quist enlightened us about Forest Bathing and Hugh Asher shared about Nature Therapy.

In addition Kay Cumming from The Seed Box based at Glen Tanar Estate shared about the Wellbeing project that ran throughout 2024 within the historic walled garden.

Green Health Week 2025

New for Scotland is Green Health Week this will be held across Scotland Saturday 3rd- Sunday 11th May 2025. The theme this year is ‘Nature is for Everyone’ Alba Rozalen Gonzalez from Public Health Scotland is looking for volunteers who are willing to showcase their work and insights with the newly formed ‘Green Health Learning Network’. Green Health Learning Network

The Green Health Learning Network is scheduled via MS Teams on Tuesday 6th May 1pm-2:15pm to register and get connected with the network please contact Alba. We felt it would be good to support this event in May instead of holding a North East Place and Wellbeing Network.

 

Other Updates:

 A major new initiative aimed at transforming mental health research and community wellbeing will launch with a special event on Tuesday 25th March 2025, in Elgin.
