We were thrilled to be included in John Swinney, First Minister's visit to ARI NHS Grampian on Monday and we were proud to showcase the impact of our GRACE project. 👏

It was a great opportunity to highlight how AI is strengthening the lung cancer pathway — supporting earlier detection, faster treatment, and better outcomes for patients. 🌟

We’re excited by the First Minister's enthusiasm to hear more about our wider innovation work and what’s coming next.

Background Information on the GRACE Project:

NHS Grampian Innovation Hub’s GRACE project launched in 2022 across 13 sites to evaluate the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the detection of lung cancer. The success of this project has gone from strength-to-strength, it is now embedded in NHS Grampian's lung cancer pathway and, with the support of the Accelerated National Innovation Adoption Pathway team, it is hoped the process can be used in lung cancer care across Scotland.  To find out more, view our project page here:
