Staff Equalities Network

Shaping a Women’s Health Plan for Grampian

15th April, 2-3 pm on MS Teams

At our next Staff Equalities Network we are excited to welcome our Public Health colleagues, Elaine McConnachie and Lisa Allerton on the very important topic of women's health.

This year’s Director of Public Health Annual Report will focus on women’s health, with the intention of informing the development of a Women’s Health Plan for Grampian.

A key part of this work is ensuring that women’s voices are heard, valued, and reflected in how our services are planned and delivered.  We are keen to create a meaningful space for colleagues to share insight, experience, and learning that can directly shape this work.
The session will provide an opportunity to:
  • Share experiences and perspectives relating to women’s health
  • Highlight any current work, initiatives, or learning that could be included in the Annual Report
  • Explore ideas for how we can better capture and hear women’s voices going forward
  • Contribute to the development of a Women’s Health Plan that is informed by lived experience and supported by staff insight
Your contribution will help ensure this work is grounded, inclusive, and shaped by the people it affects, supporting a women’s health approach that reflects the needs of women across Grampian.

As always, everyone is welcome - contact gram.staffequalities@nhs.scot for further information or the link to join
