Staff Lunches 2026 Focus Group

 

 

Stuart Donald, Catering Manager at ARI would like to invite colleagues to help the Staff Equalities Network to plan a calendar of lunch events for our workforce to enjoy throughout 2026. 

 

This is part of the wider catering programme but provides an opportunity for colleagues to suggest important dates that they would like to see included and celebrated through the staff equalities lunch events we have run throughout 2024-25 at Orange Zone Cafe.  Among others, we have marked events such as Eid al-Fitr, Diwali and Black History Month.

 

The success of these staff lunch time events has very much been a partnership between our Catering Team and those who are celebrating, helping to design the menu, supporting the planning and the delivery of the event and ultimately bringing the celebration to life. 

 

Please find a first draft of a calendar for 2026 which highlights some of these events along with other key dates and staff payday specials.

 

This calendar has been designed to start the conversation, and we hope you'll be able to join us to build on the great work that has already taken place, and support NHS Grampian to continue to be an organisation that centres diversity and inclusion - one plate at a time!
