Welcoming the Jewish New Year

Celebrating Rosh Hashanah 2025

On 30th September colleagues from accross Aberdeen Royal Infirmary came together to welcome the Jewish New Year.  To mark this auspicious occasion collagues enjoyed a special staff lunch, featuring an authentic menu co-designed with our Jewish colleagues that was carefully created to reflect the rich traditions of Rosh Hashanah. 

This is one of the holiest days in the Jewish calendar - its a time of reflection, renewal, and setting intentions for the year ahead.  The holiday invites both personal and communal reflection, making it a meaningful time to come together. 

Thank you to our colleagues who helped us to create the delicious menu, and to everyone who made it along and made it a special lunch time event.
