NHS Grampian – Speak Up Week 2024 Launch and Antiracism One Year On...
Medical Lecture Theatre, ARI – Monday 30th September, 2024

The team at NHS Grampian are passionate about participating in Speak up Week each year, and as part of our programme to mark the event in 2024 we were delighted to invite colleagues to join an interactive and in-person session to offer an update on our antiracism work and importantly listen to colleagues to find out what our workforce wanted to see in order to help keep us on this journey into years 2, 3, 5 and beyond.

The event covered a wide range of themes including the NHS Grampian Antiracism Plan, the new NHS Grampian Speak Up Programme, the importance of developing a ‘Listen Up’ culture, and valuing Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) in the workplace.

Everyone was welcome to join us and refreshments were available on arrival.

By following the links below, you will be able to watch the recordings from our guest speakers on the day:

Welcome and key notes - Alison Evison, Chair NHS Grampian

Antiracism – ‘One Year On’ - Liz Howarth, Engagement and Inclusion Manager, and Dr Sneh Banik, EDI Champion

‘Speak Up Ambassador Programme’ - Katie Cunningham, Speak Up Manager Annie Ganguly, Speak Up Ambassador
