Report of BMA Scotlands Race Equality in Medicine Survey

This 2025 survey finds that racism and inequality are deeply entrenched issues in our society and have a harmful impact in our workplaces and the broader social landscape.

The NHS in Scotland is no different in this respect, which results in harmful repercussions for ethnic minority doctors, as well as the overall standard of patient care.
