Policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's)
NHS Grampian and the University of Aberdeen undertake a large volume of high quality research in collaboration. As a result we are in the process of writing a number of joint policies, procedures and standard operating procedures in relation to research.
These must be adhered to so that research in Grampian can meet regulatory compliance set down by external authorities.
Standard Operating Procedures - SOPs
These detail working practices which describe how to carry out a task or function. SOPs have been developed for most aspects of clinical studies and trial management and these can be found on the NHS Grampian & University of Aberdeen

In addition to the SOPs, there will be some key R&D policies and a number of guidance documents to assist and support those conducting research involving NHS Grampian.
