Local Training

Welcome to our training page! We offer a variety of training courses and seminars to research staff from NHS Grampian, University of Aberdeen & Robert Gordon University. On the left you can access details of GCP courses that are relevant to the type of clinical research that you do. The Research Practice series is a growing portfolio of short courses designed to enhance your knowledge of the research process.

You can also dowload our flyer which gives more information on venue and course times. The flyer also gives details of the monthly R&D lunchtime sessions on varying aspects of research practice.

In September, Dr Sephen McSwiggan will come to speak to us on his involevment in research during the Ebola outbreak. Here is additional information.

The next R&D lunchtime seminar is to be held on Tuesday 30th August @ 12.00 in room 115, Health Sciences Building and is entitled 'CHaRT - Who we are and What we do'. Spaces available

Please email us at nhsg.randdtraining@nhs.net to enquire about course availability and receive a registration form.

 Monitoring Visits

These take place routinely across NHS Grampian and the monitors continue to find repeated 'non-conformances' at these visits. Here is a flyer with some hints and tips to avoid these occuring in your study

Our courses are also available to view on the Clinical Research Training for Scotland website.
