Hospital Play Specialists

Play Preparation Programmes

Play Specialists use play as a medium. Play preparation programmes are devised to explain treatments and procedures to families. Play Specialists may visit families prior to surgery and procedures. Preparation can help families cope with procedures and empower the patient. Play preparation may also help children express any fears or concerns they may have.
