SAS Advisor Video Case Study

Every week there are more than 60 groups at a range of times and locations across the Grampian area.  These run for 6-weeks at time and we will liaise with your own GP to ensure access to the right stop smoking product for you.

You can also get free support from your local pharmacy.  Available on a walk-in basis, the scheme offers up to 12 weeks support.  Access to free nicotine replacement therapy is available as part of the service.

Stop before your op


Stopping smoking 4-8 weeks before surgery can reduce the risk of complications such as Infections (especially chest and wound infections), breathing problems during surgery and slower wound healing and bone repair.  You can contact us free of charge on 0500 600 332 or ask your GP to refer you.
