There is a Community Midwifery Team based at the hospital and although there is no delivery unit, they do home visits and are a busy team working with the Health Visitors.  The Central Aberdeenshire LCHP Home Birth Team is also based at Jubilee Hospital.

The hospital is a recognised base for student placements and most qualified staff are mentors.  In addition, post-registration students undertaking degrees in District Nursing and Health Visiting are sometimes on placement.

A Health Centre is also attached to the hospital.  This houses Bydand Medical Group, a 6 GP practice, covering a radius of 10 miles with a practice population of approximately 7,500.  A Community Nursing Team with Health Visitors and District Nurses is based there, and a chiropodist has a surgery in the Health Centre.  Counsellors also attend and run clinic sessions.
