Campaign aiming to stub out the sale of illegal tobacco and cigarettes launched

A campaign aimed at stubbing out the supply of illegal tobacco across Grampian has been launched.
The joint initiative, between NHS Grampian, Aberdeen City Council, Aberdeenshire Council and Moray Council, will encourage businesses and communities to help each local authority's Trading Standards team take action against illegal sellers.
Posters, leaflets and information cards will be distributed during the campaign and a telephone line, where reports can be made confidentially, will be publicised.
If you have any information about anyone selling cheap cigarettes or tobacco from their home, at the pub, in the street or where you work then call Trading Standards in confidence: 01224 522433.
Find out more about the campaign on Aberdeen City Council's website.
