There can be many different reasons why someone falls and equally many different ways to address the problem.
Those who have had a history of falls and consequences from those falls (eg. injuries, decreased confidence)require a more indepth assessment to determine the main reasons behind the falls and then discuss what could be done to help.
The GP or hospital doctor could refer to healthcare professionals for a falls assessment as required
