Give Kids a Chance was presented with a Grampian Police Diced Cap "Good Samaritan" award by Sir Ian Wood, Patron of the Diced Cap Charitable Trust.  The award was presented in recognition of the projects' achievements over the past 10 years in supporting over 1,000 children and young people in the Grampian area.

 

Project Manager, Heather Wilson, accepted the award from Sir Ian Wood on behalf of the Give Kids a Chance team at the Good Samaritan Dinner held at the Marriott Hotel in February 2008.

 

 

 

 

The Give Kids a Chance team were one of three finalists shortlisted for the NHS Scotland Healthy Lifestyle Award.  Although the team didn't win, they were recognised as a shining example of good practice in Scotland and received a certificate and a cheque for £400.
