Clinics are held regularly at Macduff Health Clinic. Diabetics, children, elderly and disabled people are eligible. Initially you have to be referred by your Doctor. Once you are on the Chiropodist list an appointment can be made for the Macduff Clinic by sending in your appointment card with a S.A.E. for return.

Community Midwife

Provides ante and post-natal care both in the Community and Chalmers Hospital, BANFF.

All antenatal and postnatal clinics are held in Macduff and appointments will be with the midwife and/or doctor.

Community Nurse

Provide care to patients in their own homes. The doctor will arrange for the community nurse to visit when appropriate, or you may request a visit.

Community Psychiatric Nurse

Offers support to people with mental health problems. She can be contacted at Banff.

Health Visitor

The Health Visitor is available for advice and support for a wide range of health problems, eg bedwetting, cardiac rehabilitation, smoking cessation. She has responsibility for monitoring growth and development of children under 5.

Baby Clinic Tuesday 10-11 at Macduff Community Centre(only school term times) and First Friday of every month at Banff Community Centre.

You can make an appointment with Fiona or Anika for blood tests and blood pressure.

Family Planning

Advice and repeat prescriptions for Contraception, Well Woman Clinic, cervical smear, advice on self-breast examination, and breast awareness, HRT advice and discussion, Hysterectomy patients still require a Well Woman Check. Well Men Checks and advice. Also general health issues or problems. Ear Syringing. Tetanus and Travel Immunisations. Asthma and Diabetic patients should be reviewed annually. Dietary advice with regard to lowering cholesterol. Smoking cessation advice.
