Brimmond Medical Group aims to provide quality medical services to patients and educate them courteously towards appropriate management of illness, the efficient use of practice facilities and a better personal lifestyle.
We operate as an unlimited partnership of 6 GPs. Within the NHS structure the practice falls under the responsibility of NHS Grampian, telephone 558565, whom you can contact for more details of primary care medical services in the area. We are privileged to be recognised as both a training and a teaching practice.
The practice directly provides general medical services, maternity medical services, child health surveillance, minor surgery and confidential contraceptive advice. We also run clinics for Asthma, Coronary Heart Disease, Diabetes, and other chronic diseases. We are a Yellow Fever vaccination centre. We offer occupational health services to individuals and companies.
We have a patient list of approximately 8600 and cover the north of Aberdeen and the surrounding areas of Kingswells, Newmachar and Blackburn. Our catchment area is indicated on the map.
For your convenience we operate from 2 surgeries - 106 Inverurie Road, Bucksburn, and Dyce Health Centre, Altonrea Gardens, Dyce. Both surgeries have ample parking and are easily accessible by public transport. There is easy access for disabled patients, and a wheelchair is available for use within each building. Both sites have a loop system.
Bus routes 17 and 21 run from Aberdeen via Bucksburn to Dyce. Stagecoach Bluebird route 305 runs between Newmachar and Dyce, while route 220 runs between Blackburn and Bucksburn.
