Give Kids a Chance Invites you to join in their Christmas Fundraising - it's never too early to start planning!

This is a great opportunity to support Give Kids a Chance and have some fun at the same time.

Please keep reading and decide if you or your organisation can join in our fundraising projects and help enhance the life experiences of young people living in the Grampian area.

Christmas Donations instead of cards - How it works

If you would like to make a donation to Give Kids a Chance instead of sending Christmas cards to your friends, family or work colleagues, this is the option for you.  Use this form to send your donation to the Give Kids a Chance team and we will add your name to our Christmas Roll of Honour and add your donation to our running total of funds raised.  We will also send you a thank you letter that you can circulate by e-mail to those you would normally have sent cards to.

Christmas Hampers and Raffles - How it works

• Appoint a staff member to take charge. 
• Your appointed person can circulate information by e-mail - which will be provided by Give Kids a Chance.
• Staff are asked to contribute one item to a Christmas Hamper.
• All donations are collected and assembled in boxes ready for a raffle.
• Raffle tickets are sold on an agreed date (decided by the individual companies/organisations taking part) the raffle will be drawn and the hamper(s) won.
• As the raffle is limited to staff, cloakroom tickets can be used and all prizes are distributed among staff.
• Funds raised can then be sent to Give Kids a Chance

This is a simple fundraiser that companies, organisations, GP Surgeries, Hospital Wards, Family Centres, Community Centres or, dedicated departments within organisations can take part in, irrespective of size.

Over the 8 years our Christmas promotions have been running, over £68,200 has been raised for Give Kids a Chance.  During Christmas 2010, 16 workplace locations across Grampian organised raffles, numerous people sent donations instead of sending Christmas Cards and we received the proceeds of two Christmas Concerts.  This raised a total of £8,200.

If you would like to take part please complete a  registration form and fax it back to the Give Kids a Chance project. By committing your support now and ensuring Give Kids a Chance is included in your Christmas plans you are helping secure sport and leisure activities for some of the most vulnerable young people in Grampian.
