To its supporters, Give Kids a Chance provides:

• the chance to build links with local communities and opinion leaders;
• active 'investment' in the health and skills of the future workforce;
• flexible opportunities, that include offering support in-kind or by donations;
• a professionally managed and evaluated project;
• an opportunity for staff to become involved in fundraising or volunteering

Give Kids a Chance has links with a range of funders.  Our panel with sponsors logos (last updated, September 09) demonstrates the strength of support in the local community for Give Kids a Chance.

As well as trust and corporate sector funding, since Give Kids a Chance was launched in 1997 the project has received financial support from Community Safety Partnerships in Moray, Aberdeenshire and Aberdeen City, Community Regeneration funding in Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire and received funding from the Health Improvement Funds managed by local Community Health Partnerships.

Many individuals support Give Kids a Chance by fundraising.  Give Kids a Chance has received donations as a result of participation in 10k runs, marathons, sponsored walks, and donations in lieu of gifts for birthdays and anniversaries.  Many companies encourage their staff to get involved in fundraising events and support our Christmas Fundraising promotions on an annual basis.
