Well Woman Checks

These usually include blood pressure check; weight; cervical smear and are provided during surgery hours by the Practice Nurse.  Please also bring a fresh urine sample with you.  We encourage women between the ages of 20 and 60 to have regular 3-yearly smears but if you would prefer to opt out of having the smear test you can do so by signing an Opt out form.

Travel Vaccinations

If you are thinking of travelling abroad you may need extra immunisations.  If you require travel vaccinations and/or advice, please complete a questionnaire (click here to view and print form at home) at least 6 weeks before you are due to travel so our Practice Nurse can organise your travel health programme.  Once the questionnaire has been reviewed you should make an appointment with one of our nurses so she can commence your course of vaccinations.

Not all travel vaccinations are available on the NHS - a charge is therefore made for some vaccinations.  Please ask the Practice Nurse for details.
