NHS Grampian Disability Equality Scheme 2010-2013
NHS Grampian has a legal duty to produce a Disability Equality Scheme every three years, setting out how it intends to progress disability equality both in the health care services we provide, and within NHS Grampian.
The consultation draft of the new NHSG Disability Equality Scheme 2010-13 is
available to download (pdf). The Scheme has been produced by the NHSG Disability Discrimination Act Review Group, following extensive involvement and consultation with NHSG staff and local disabled people and disability groups in Grampian.
The Review Group would be happy to receive comments on the consultation draft - and these should be e-mailed to nigel.firth@nhs.net by Friday 9 October 2009.
