Age UK's National Falls Awareness Week

 
The staff of the physiotherapy and occupational therapy departments at Turriff are organising a drop in session at the Turriff Branch of the Royal British Legion on Monday 21st June from 10.00 am till 12.00 midday.
 
Part of Age UK's National Falls Awareness Week, it is aimed at anyone who wants to stay active, safe and avoid falls.
 
Staff will be issuing advice, leaflets, home-safety checklists, demonstrating exercises to help people stay active and checking walking aids.  Free tea and coffee will be available.
 
The awareness week runs from June  21 to 25 June 2010, and has the theme 'Get Up and Go'.
