Dr Gray's, Elgin - C.diff Update - May 15
No new cases have been reported today. In total eight patients remain affected by C.diff. Their clinical condition is not giving cause for concern.
Wards seven and nine, where the outbreak is contained, will not be admitting new patients until they are 48 hours symptom free.
NHS 24 has set up a telephone advice line on behalf of NHS Grampian for patients, families and friends concerned about the cases of C.diff currently being investigated at the hospital.
It is 08000 858 531 and will be open from 08.00 am to 10.00 pm every day, including weekends.
The outbreak control team will meet over the weekend and updated figures will be released on Saturday and Sunday afternoons.
