Health services on forum agenda

Members of the public with an interest in health issues are being urged to go along to NHS Grampian's community forum on Saturday, February 21.

Speakers from the Board's infection control and patient safety teams will talk to members about the latest developments in infection control, hand hygiene and MRSA screening.

New patient menus and developments in nutritional care for patients will be outlined by the nutritional care team.

The forum provides the public with an opportunity to hear about the latest developments in health issues, and contribute their views.

Laura Gray, Director of Communications, said: "The views of local people are important to us and help us plan services for the future.  I would encourage anyone who has an interest in health to come along to the community forum for what promises to be an interesting afternoon".

This weekend's event is being held in Aberdeen's Hilton Doubletree Hotel, on the Beach Boulevard, from 1.30pm - 3.30pm.

The forum is hoping to attract new members and anyone interested in coming along can book a place by calling 01224 554400.
