Horizons Rehabilitation Centre was purpose built and opened in 1997 to provide assessment and therapeutic rehabilitation for people with physical disabilities, aged between 16 and 65. Jointly funded by Aberdeen City Council and NHS Grampian, the Centre offers time-limited rehabilitation programmes to meet the needs of patients, their families and carers.
Conditions treated include Brain Injury, Multiple Scleroris, Parkinsons and Stroke. Treatment assists individuals to achieve their goals and gain maximum independence within the community. Patients can be referred by health / social work professionals in Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire and Moray.
