2.14 Drugs affecting the ductus arteriosus
PAEDIATRIC NOTES - DRUGS AFFECTING THE DUCTUS ARTERIOSUS
Ibuprofen (intravenous solution 5mg/mL) and indometacin (injection) are used to close the ductus arteriosus in pre-term newborn infants.
Dinoprostone (intravenous solution) is used to maintain the patency of the ductus arteriosus.
