15.1.8 Drugs for malignant hyperthermia
The drug in this section should only be administered by, or under direct supervision of personnel experienced in their use.
Dantrolene sodium (IV injection) is used in the treatment of malignant hyperthermia, which is a rare, but potentially lethal, complication of anaesthesia.
