Who we are
The Eating Disorder Service in Aberdeen is provided by a multidisciplinary team under the leadership of a Consultant Psychiatrist. The team consists of:-
Chartered Clinical Psychologist
Cognitive Behavioural Therapist
Social Worker sessions
The sessional contribution of the various professions varies from time to time.

The Service is based in the Fulton Clinic, Royal Cornhill Hospital and most members of the team see their patients there.

Who we see
We offer an outpatient service, Monday to Friday from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm, to patients suffering from Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa and other related disorders where these are identified as the most significant presenting problem. Most of the therapy on offer is on an individual basis but group therapies and guided self-help are also available. The Service is for people over the age of 18 years.
In addition to the clinics at Fulton Clinic, we run an outpatient clinic one day per week in Elgin.
Funding from the Scottish Telemedicine Action Forum (STAF) has led to the establishment of an extensive videoconferencing network between Aberdeen and remote sites throughout Grampian, as well as Orkney and Shetland. The sites currently targeted are:

- Kincardine Community Hospital, Stonehaven
- Lerwick Health Centre, Shetland
- Peterhead Community Hospital
