Welcome to the website for Neurosciences in NHS Grampian We provide a comprehensive range of services for assessing, treating and caring for people affected by conditions affecting the brain, spinal cord, peripheral nervous system and muscles. Our facilities include; a 38 bedded acute mixed neurosurgical and neuromedical ward incorporating a 4 bedded high dependency unit, Neurophysiology, Neuropsychology, neurosurgical theatre, out-patient clinics and telemedicine. There is access to specialist neuro-rehabilitation. We provide specialist services in Epilepsy, Headache, Multiple Sclerosis, Motor Neurone Disease and Parkinsons Disease. The department is also involved in training medical, nursing and allied health professional students and has close links with Aberdeen University and Robert Gordon University.
